This site was designed and programmed from the ground up by Interactive Remix. Somewhere between managing multiple projects with our clients and working on our IntelliKiosk software, we finally managed to finish our new website (after working on it for nearly a year).

Usability and navigation were the two main objectives of this website. We are especially fond of our "mega menu" navigation system which provides single-click access to 99% of the pages on the site.

If you look at the source code, you will notice that all of the navigational elements are actually at the end of the source code instead of the beginning. This was a major accessibility decision that makes it easier for screen readers and search engines to get directly to the heart of the page without having to crawl over our navigational structure.

We are also using vibrant images on the 1st and 2nd tier pages across the site. We did this to capture and make sure our visitors are instantly drawn into our site. The image of the toddler playing on a laptop is one of our personal favorites.

We also introduced some jQuery elements into this design with the rotating hero images on the 1st and 2nd tier pages and the LightView effect on the portfolio pages.

One of the most impressive features about this site is that it is built entirely using ExtremeCMS, our content management system. We actually used this site to help us develop and refine features in the most recent versions of ExtremeCMS. In addition to the standard content on the website, our company blog and RSS feeds are all controlled and generated from within our content management system.

It was a long time coming, but it's finally here and we hope you enjoy our new website.
