Literacy Council of Wake County
The mission of LCWC is to improvee the lives of adults, youth, and families by teaching basic literacy and life skills for economic and social success. Through various one-on-one and group tutoring programs, they helped over 350 adults work towards their reading and writing goals last year. We are ardent supporters of education and expanding knowledge and were happy to have LCWC as one of our first philanthropy projects.
LCWC wanted to upgrade from their previous website to one that used a CMS and would allow them to make frequent updates to tutoring schedules and to advertise other events at the council. Using their new logo as inspiration, we came up a simple yet fun design that fits with the theme of reading and writing and we integrated it with ExtremeCMS.
